"Hatred is not like nature, where the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening, and no matter what we do, we can't reverse it, that's how it's bound to be."

My goal is to try to instill this as a goal in people's minds, especially children, because they are the ones who will make their own lives.

Your life will be what you make it.

Pay attention, work against it, and eliminate, as much as possible, the hatred of one person against another and the exclusion of groups of people.

And when I sit up on that certain pink cloud and look down on you, let me see you doing this." (Éva Fahidi)

  • The Éva Fahidi Award may be awarded to a maximum of three individuals in 2025 and to one individual per year in subsequent years.

  • Any individuals who inspire others through their personal example or support the next generation through their work so that they can live in an inclusive, compassionate, and caring society are eligible for the award.

  • The founders of the Éva Fahidi Award are conductor Ádám Fischer and Andor Andrási, Éva Fahidi's partner.
