Nominees and nomination

Nominees

The Éva Fahidi Prize is open to teachers, healers, artists, social workers, businesspeople, media personalities, and cultural figures, regardless of their nationality, whose work in the field of inclusion is exemplary and who contribute to promoting a tolerant and compassionate attitude among the next generation.

Individuals who are clearly committed to a particular political party through their public activities are not eligible for nomination for the prize.

If the organizers or the jury conclude that the candidate's activities in any way support hate speech or exclusion, the nomination will automatically be invalidated.

The organizers also reserve the right to withdraw the nomination and any award if they become aware at any time that the candidate does not meet the criteria.

Nomination

The award is announced in Hungarian, English, and German. The announcement can be viewed on the websites https://fahidievadij.hu,/ https://fahidievaprize.net.

Both individuals and organizations may submit nominations for the award, with the exception of political parties. An organization or individual may submit a maximum of five nominations per year. Previous nominations do not preclude a person from being nominated again.

Nominations can be submitted in Hungarian, English, or German by completing the nomination form.
The organizers may contact the nominator to clarify or supplement the information provided.

The detailed justification must include a description of the nominee's professional career and activities, with a maximum length of 2 pages (5,000 characters). External references (articles, interviews, etc.) may also be provided to supplement the description and support the nominee's work.

The organizers will inform the nominee of the nomination—but not of the identity of the nominator—which the nominee must accept by completing a statement of acceptance. The nominee may describe the most important elements of their own activities as an appendix to the statement of acceptance.
